These emergencies may include incidents involving hazardous materials as well as the detection of non-permitted transport of security sensitive hazmat. The equipment package identifies the location of the vehicle, the nature of the incident, the route information, and information concerning the freight itself. The information supports the determination of the response and identifies the responding agencies to notify. As part of the response, this equipment package can request Fleet and Freight Management to disable a specific vehicle in their fleet.
