GoAkamai GoAkamai is a free web service that consolidates regional transportation information into a one-stop resource. GoAkamai is currently disseminating real-time traffic information to Oahu travelers and may be extended to Kauai, Maui or Hawaii Counties.
Hawaii State EOC Represents the Emergency Operations Center operated by the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HIEMA).
HDOT Highways Division, Planning Represents the planning section of HDOT highways.
HDOT, Highways Division, Traffic Safety Represents the Traffic Safety Section of HDOT Highways Traffic Branch. The Traffic Safety Section collects crash data from regional public safety providers.
HDOT-AIR-K Flight Information Display System Represents the Flight Information Display System at the Lihue Airport.
HDOT-AIR-K Infrastructure Monitoring Equipment Represents infrastructure monitoring equipment, such as cameras and sensors, owned and operated by HDOT Airports - Kauai District.
HDOT-AIR-K Security Dispatch Center Represents the dispatch center for HDOT Airports - Kauai District.
HDOT-AIR-K Traveler Information Kiosk Represents traveler information kiosks at the Lihue Airport owned and operated by Hawaii Department of Transportation, Airports Division, Kauai District (HDOT-AIR-K).

Kauai DPW Maintenance Vehicles Represents County of Kauai DPW maintenance vehicles equipped. Vehicles may be equipped with GPS/AVL location sensors. Currently, GPS/AVL sensors are used for fuel management only and there are no plans to use the system for equipment tracking.
Kauai EMS Vehicles Represents Emergency Medical Service (EMS) vehicles in Kauai.

Kauai Fire Departmental Operations Center Represents the departmental operations center for County of Kauai Fire Department.

Kauai IT Services Network Management System Represents the Kauai County IT Services Network Management System which monitors and maintains communications for the County of Kauai. The goal of the Network Management System is to monitor County of Kauai communications networks and information systems and to predict impending failures.
Kauai Parking and Access Management Represents a future parking and access management system in Kauai.
Kauai Police Air Assets Represents air assets owned and operated by Kauai Police.
Kauai Police Departmental Operations Center Represents the departmental operations center for County of Kauai Police.
Kauai Police Field Equipment Represents field devices owned by Kauai Police, including speed monitoring signs.
Kauai Police Vehicles Represents County of Kauai Police vehicles.
Kauai Transit Information System Represents the traveler information system for Kauai Bus. In the future, this could be operated by Kauai Bus or by a private transit information provider.
Kauai Visitors Bureau Represents the Kauai Visitors Bureau (KVB) provides coordination and information about travelers in the case of a disaster.

Pacific Disaster Center Represents the Pacific Disaster Center (PDC), an organization that uses information, science, and technology to enable effective evidence-based decision making and to promote disaster risk reduction concepts and strategies. The PDC provides multi-hazard warning and decision support tools to facilitate informed decision making and critical information sharing, supporting appropriate and effective actions.
Pacific Tsunami Warning Center Represents the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, an organization that issues warnings and alerts about potential tsunamis.
Private Traveler Information Services Represents private sector traveler information systems, such as Google.
Private Travelers Personal Computing Devices Represents personal computing devices, such as smartphones.
Red Cross Represents the Red Cross provides disaster relief, including shelter management.
Shuttle Represents future shuttle transit vehicles operating in Kauai.
Shuttle Dispatch Represents a future shuttle dispatch system in Kauai.
 

The Hawaiian language uses two diacritical markings. The 'okina is a glottal stop; and the kahako is a macron. The State of Hawaii strongly encourages the use of Hawaiian diacritical markings. The National ITS Architecture tool, Turbo Architecture, does not allow for the Hawaiian diacritical markings to be input and as such, customized service package diagrams, operational concepts and other outputs from Turbo are unable to reflect the diacritical markings. To ensure consistency in this ITS Architecture website, no Hawaiian diacritical markings will be used.
