Description

The District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) manages and maintains the majority of the roads, streets, bridges, traffic signals, and related transportation infrastructure within the District of Columbia. DDOT is responsible for the management and response to regional emergencies regarding streets and roadways in the District of Columbia.  
The Transportation Operations Administration (TOA) seeks to effectively maintain the integrity of public assets, such as roadways, sidewalks, traffic calming devices, streetlights, parking meters, and ensure a safe and user-friendly transportation environment.
