Functional Areas
TMC Regional Traffic Management
- The center shall collect video images from other centers, allow centers to select which video images to receive, and pass through the capability of one center to control, such as pan, tilt, and zoom, another center's cameras.
- The center shall exchange traffic information with other traffic management centers including incident information, congestion data, traffic data, signal timing plans, and real-time signal control information.
- The center shall exchange video (CCTV images) with other centers, including the capability to allow other centers to pan, tilt, and zoom its CCTV cameras.
