NOAA National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Includes the National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Center.
ODOT Ohio Department of Transportation. Responsible for the transportation system within the State of Ohio, including the highways, railways, transit, aviation and port facilities. Operational Concept
ODOT/KYTC Joint owners and operators of the ARTIMIS system and traffic information center. Operational Concept
Ohio Department of Public Safety State agency responsible for the safety and security of the state of Ohio.
Ohio Emergency Management Agency A division of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, the Ohio Emergency Management Agency is the central point of coordination within the state for response and recovery to disasters. May activate the Ohio Emergency Operations Center to better coordinate the state's response.
Ohio State Highway Patrol A division of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, The Ohio State Highway Patrol is responsible for protecting life and property, promoting traffic safety and providing professional public safety services for the State of Ohio. This includes statewide traffic services to keep our roadways safe; statewide emergency response services and support services to the public and the criminal justice community. Operational Concept
OKI The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) is a council of local governments, business organizations and community groups committed to developing collaborative strategies to improve the quality of life and the economic vitality of the region. Operational Concept

Private Fleet and Freight Operators Private owners of commercial vehicles that carry goods throughout the region.
Private Rail Operations Companies that operate freight rail within the OKI Region.
Private Riverfront Terminal Operators Represents private operators involved with cargo shipping commerce, and other members of the maritime business community. Maritime freight and cargo represents a large percentage of commercial vehicles on the regional surface roadways. Operational Concept
Private Tow Wreckers and Cleanup Service Providers Represents private towing companies operating in the region.
Private Traveler Information Providers Local, regional and national information service providers that provide travel information to the traveling public (both subscription service and general broadcast information). Includes internet sites, service bureaus, etc.
Regional Airport Authorities Represents other regional airport facilities and operators in the region not specifically called out in the architecture.
Regional Hospital Organizations Represents hospitals and trauma centers in the region.
School Districts Regional school districts. Operates or contracts school buses in the region, which can also be used for evacuation purposes during emergencies. Operational Concept
SORTA The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) operates Metro fixed-route bus service and Access paratransit service for people whose disabilities prevent them from riding Metro buses in the Greater Cincinnati area. Operational Concept
SORTA\TANK Joint operator and owner of a regional smart card for electronic payment.
TANK The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) provides transit services to Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties as well as downtown Cincinnati. Transit services includes fixed-route bus service, express bus service to downtown Cincinnati, and park and ride locations. In addition, TANK operates the Regional Area Mobility Program (RAMP), a service for disabled citizens and the DayTripper program for seniors over age 60. Operational Concept

TRI-EMAD The Tri-State Emergency Management Directors Group. Consists of the EMA Directors of the twelve counties in the Tri-State region (Southwest Ohio, Southeast Indiana, and Northern Kentucky). Operational Concept
TV and Radio Stations Television, Radio, and Print Media. Includes TV network affiliates
University of Cincinnati The University of Cincinnati is the largest employer in the Cincinnati region. Operational Concept
US Coast Guard Patrols the rivers in the region. Responsibilities include providing homeland security, law enforcement, search and rescue, marine environmental pollution response, and the maintenance of river, intracoastal and offshore aids to navigation (ATON).
