Description: Infrastructure monitoring equipment including IR, cameras and motion detectors. These sensors and detectors are operated by ODOT to monitor and protect infrastructure and facilities, and not for traffic monitoring.

Functional Requirements:

Field Secure Area Surveillance

  • The field element shall be remotely controlled by a center.
  • The field element shall include video and/or audio surveillance of secure areas including facilities (e.g. transit yards) and transportation infrastructure (e.g. bridges, tunnels, interchanges, roadway infrastructure, and transit railways or guideways).
  • The field element shall provide equipment status and fault indication of surveillance equipment to a center.
  • The field element shall provide raw video or audio data.
  • The field element shall remotely process video and audio data and provide an indication of potential incidents or threats to a center.

Field Secure Area Sensor Monitoring

  • The field element shall be remotely controlled by a center.
  • The field element shall include infrastructure condition and integrity monitoring sensors.
  • The field element shall include motion and intrusion detection sensors.
  • The field element shall include object detection sensors (such as metal detectors).
  • The field element shall include security sensors that monitor conditions of secure areas including facilities (e.g. transit yards) and transportation infrastructure (e.g. bridges, tunnels, interchanges, roadway infrastructure, and transit railways or guid
  • The field element shall provide equipment status and fault indication of security sensor equipment to a center.
  • The field element shall provide raw security sensor data.
