Archived Data Users Represents agencies and individuals who use the various forms of archive data in the region.
Berkshire Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Berkshire.
Berlin Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Berlin.
Blendon Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Blendon.
Bloom Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Bloom.
Brown Township, Delaware County Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Brown in Delaware County.
Brown Township, Franklin County Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Brown in Franklin County.
Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) COTA is the primary provider of public transit services in central Ohio. COTA operates under an agreement authorized in 1970 by the Franklin County Commissioners and the City Councils of Bexley, Columbus, Gahanna, Grandview Heights, Grove City, Hilliard, Reynoldsburg, Upper Arlington, Westerville, Whitehall, and Worthington. COTA’s existing level of transit services are funded through a 0.25 percent local sales tax, federal and state assistance, and fare box receipts. The majority of the funding (60 percent) is generated from the local sales tax. The agency's finance, planning, and transportation divisions all contribute to COTA's ITS services. Operational Concept
City of Bexley Represents the various government departments and agencies of the City of Bexley. Operational Concept
City of Columbus Department of Public Service The Columbus Department of Public Service provides a variety of basic services to residents of the City of Columbus, including trash collection, parking management and enforcement, snow removal, and pothole patching. The Department also maintains roadways, supervises design of street improvements and street resurfacing, oversees construction of wheelchair ramps, guides installation of sidewalks near elementary schools in Columbus, and inspects public and private construction projects. Installation of street signs and signals, selection of traffic-calming measures, and implementation of other traffic engineering projects also fall to the Service Department. Through Paving the Way, the Public Service Department provides central Ohio road construction information, including information on detours around major projects. The Public Service Department operates the Traffic Management Center for traffic signal operations and hosts ODOT's Columbus Metropolitan Freeway Management System. The Department also manages on-street parking through parking meters and enforcement of parking regulations. Operational Concept
City of Columbus Fire Department The Columbus Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the residents of the city of Columbus. The Columbus Division of Fire is geographically divided into seven battalions each of which is directed by a Battalion Chief. Among these seven battalions there are thirty-one fire stations equipped with thirty-one engine/medic companies, two engine companies, sixteen ladder companies, thirty-two medic transport vehicles, five rescues, hazmat vehicle, bomb unit and seven EMS supervisors. City of Columbus Police Department The Columbus Police Department patrols the City of Columbus. The Department provides the following services through its Patrol section: Rapid response to all emergency calls; Routine district patrols; Traffic law enforcement; Traffic accident investigation; Routine response to general calls for services Crime prevention/suppression techniques; Special event management; and Bicycle patrol. Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) The Columbus Regional Airport Authority oversees the operations of Port Columbus, Rickenbacker and Bolton Field airports to deliver high-quality, cost-effective and coordinated aviation and logistics services for Central Ohio. Operational Concept
Columbus Traffic Management Group All stakeholders working together in the Traffic Management Center (ODOT and city of Columbus). Operational Concept
COMBAT Group The system called COMBAT, which stands for Central Ohio Management Based Applied Technology, tracks weather and operational data in real time to help the fleets run more efficiently and environmentally sound. This project is jointly funded and implemented by the Franklin County Engineers and the City of Columbus Public Service Department. Other agencies are currently showing interest in adding their fleet management to the system as well. Operational Concept
Concord Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Concord.
County Auditors County Auditors provide road centerline files.
County EMAs The Emergency Management Agencies (EMA) are responsible for coordinating countywide emergency and disaster planning, education, warning, response and recovery to minimize the adverse impact on area residents and property. Each county has their own EMA. Operational Concept
Delaware Area Transit Agency (DATA) DATA is the Delaware Area Transit Agency. DATA is the public transit service provided by the Delaware County Transit Board. The transit board is a seven member governing board established by the Delaware County Commissioners under section 306 of the Ohio Revised Code. The county commissioners are the appointing authority for the board members. The citizens of Delaware County own and operate the public transit system through the Delaware County Transit Board. Franklin County EMA The Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security Office coordinates countywide emergency and disaster planning, education, warning, response and recovery to minimize the adverse impact on area residents and property.

Madison Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Madison.

Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is a voluntary association of governments serving Ohio in the areas of housing, transportation, water, land use, zoning, environmental and technology issues. They assist local governments by providing innovative solutions for the many challenges facing the growing Central Ohio region. MORPC is also the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for transportation services in the central Ohio. Operational Concept
Mifflin Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Mifflin.

Norwich Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Norwich.
Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) The Ohio Department of Public Safety serves and protects the safety and security of Ohioans through eight divisions: Administration, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Emergency Management Agency, Emergency Medical Services, Homeland Security, Highway Patrol, Investigative Unit, and Office of Criminal Justice Services. One of their tasks includes obtaining all crash data for the State of Ohio.
Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) To seamlessly link Ohio’s highways, railways, transit, aviation and port facilities, ODOT will promote a world-class, integrated multi-modal transportation system that is efficient, cost-effective and reliable for all of the state’s citizens, businesses and travelers. Operational Concept
Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency is a state agency whose goal is to protect the environment and public health by ensuring compliance with environmental laws. Ohio EPA establishes and enforces standards for air, water, waste management and cleanup of sites contaminated with hazardous substances. They also provide financial assistance to businesses and communities; environmental education programs for businesses and the public; and pollution prevention assistance to help businesses minimize their waste at the source.
Ohio State Highway Patrol The Ohio State Highway Patrol strives to protect life and property, promote traffic safety, and provide professional public safety services through 8 offices: Field Operations, Finance and Logistic Services, Licensing and Commercial Standards, Technology and Communication Services, Recruitment and Training, Strategic Services, Investigative Services, and Human Resource Management. Ohio State University Represents the various departments of Ohio State University. Departments represented include the Department of Public Safety, the Transportation and Parking Services Department, and the Engineering Department. The Department of Public Safety provides law enforcement, security services, emergency management planning and other public safety services designed to enhance a safe and secure environment on campus. The Transportation & Parking Services provides services and support to help create and maintain a safe and orderly campus environment for pedestrians and vehicle operators while also providing a broad range of parking and transportation services. Transportation & Parking consists of many different services designed to address the needs of the University community. These include Campus Area Bus Service; Charter Bus services; construction coordination as it relates to impacts to streets and parking areas; Handivan paratransit services; Vehicle rental services for departmental business; motorist assistance for campus customers; parking enforcement and traffic support; parking and vehicle maintenance services; special events management; traffic signal coordination and repair. The Engineering Department provides transportation research utilizing data from the Columbus Traffic Management Center (TMC). Operational Concept

Oxford Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Oxford.

Prairie Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Prairie.
Private Commercial Carriers This category describes all private companies that provide freight services using commercial vehicles.
Private Rail Operations Companies that operate (freight) rail within Central Ohio.
Private Transit Providers Represents private contractors providing demand responsive transit services or paratransit services under contract. These services may be via taxis, livery cabs or shuttles.
Private Traveler Information Providers Local, regional and national information service providers, such as SmartRoutes or Metro Traffic, that provide travel information to the traveling public (both subscription service and general broadcast information). Includes internet sites, service bureaus, etc.
Public Any person who uses the transportation infrastructure.
Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) The PUCO was created to assure Ohioans adequate, safe, and reliable public utility services at a fair price. More recently, the PUCO gained responsibility for facilitating competitive utility choices for Ohio consumers. The commission regulates providers of all kinds of utility services, including electric and natural gas companies, local and long distance telephone companies, water and wastewater companies, and rail and trucking companies.
Radnor Township Represents the various government departments and agencies of the Township of Radnor.
Regional Emergency Agencies This element describes all agencies or organizations that provide emergency services to the public. Operational Concept
Regional Event Promoters These stakeholders support the information exchange/coordination with various special event activities including university sporting events. It also includes groups that promote events, such as a Chamber of Commerce or Visitor's Bureau.
Regional Hospital Organizations Represents hospitals and trauma centers in the region.
School Districts Regional school districts. Operational Concept
