Architecture Scope
The scope of the Regional ITS Architecture can be described in terms of: 1) the size of the region and jurisdictions covered (geographic scope), 2) the planning or time horizon, and 3) the variety of transportation services that are covered. This scope is defined in the context of adjacent and overlapping Regional ITS Architectures.
Description
The Regional ITS Architecture for the Las Cruces Region, including the City of Las Cruces, the Town of Mesilla and part of Dona Ana County.

Geographic Scope
The Mesilla Valley MPO Regional boundary. Includes the City of Las Cruces, the Town of Mesilla, the surrounding Villages and Towns, the surrounding Indian Reservations and Pueblos and part of Dona Ana County.
Service Scope
Covers all of the ITS applications in the 6 year plan and the 20-year long range plan.
