The following are the roles and responsibilities, by functional area or by project, for CTDOT.

Perform network surveillance for incident detection and verification on freeways, and send traffic/incident information and traffic images to regional fire/EMS/police agencies, the Connecticut State Police, CTDOT CHAMP and the Hartford EOC. Planned
